Amelia
Amelia's story... Sweet Amelia hit a rough patch. She was dumped at the shelter with her mate and her mate got adopted two long weeks before Take Me Home could save Amelia's life! When our volunteer went to meet her, she was very sad and lonely. She was very skinny too. We think Amelia had given up... Cut to today: Amelia is now living in a wonderful foster home with her foster mom and her seven year old human foster brother. Amelia's pep in her step is back and this amazing Boxer girl feels great. She is gaining weight, meeting new people and loving life. Amelia is housebroken in her foster home and loves to lounge around and watch daytime TV. Amelia is an elegant lady on leash (so easy on leash!) and loves to stroll the neighborhood. She does like to chase cats, so no cats for her and she is best with nice, mellow dogs. Amelia is a medium-sized girl, weighing about 55 pounds. Our vet thinks she's between five and six years old.
